Brewing instructions
For the best results, use a traditional Turkish double teapot (çaydanlık).
Boil water: Fill the larger bottom pot of the çaydanlık with water and bring it to a boil.
Add tea leaves: Put the desired amount of loose tea leaves into the smaller, top pot.
Pour and steep: Pour some of the boiling water from the bottom pot over the tea leaves in the top pot. Place the top pot back on the larger pot, reduce the heat, and let the tea steep for 15 to 20 minutes.
Serve: Pour the strong tea concentrate into small, tulip-shaped glasses. Dilute with hot water from the bottom pot to achieve your desired strength, and add sugar to taste.
